Future-Ready Education:
Empowering Human Potential in the Age of AI
The 14th National Education Conference 2027
A platform for sharing knowledge, research, and educational innovations under the theme of “Future-Ready Education: Empowering Human Potential in the Age of AI”
The rapid advancement of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the ways people learn and work, as well as the competencies needed for the future. Educational institutions therefore play an important role in preparing learners to make effective use of technology while strengthening essential human capabilities, including critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to continuously learn and develop themselves. These capabilities are essential for enabling learners to respond effectively to changes in society and the world of work.
Under the theme “Future-Ready Education: Empowering Human Potential in the Age of AI,” education should focus on developing human potential so that individuals are able to learn, adapt, and create value in a context where AI plays an increasingly important role. This includes promoting the appropriate, creative, and responsible use of technology, while also fostering the foundations of lifelong learning, enabling individuals to continuously develop their knowledge, skills, and competencies in response to ongoing changes.
At the same time, Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) serves as an important mechanism for connecting learning with real-world experiences and the needs of enterprises. Through practical experience, learners can strengthen their professional competencies, develop the ability to work effectively with others and with technology, and build the capacity to continuously improve themselves throughout their working lives.
The conference will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, academic work, and good practices through special lectures, academic presentations, workshops, the exchange of perspectives on the needs of enterprises, and activities that connect higher education institutions, enterprises, and students. These activities are expected to contribute to the advancement of education, the development of human potential, and the preparation of a future-ready workforce capable of continuous learning, adapting, and responding to change in the age of AI.

The 13th Education Conference
“Reimagining Higher Education in a Changing World: Innovation and Collaboration”

The world today is experiencing rapid and continuous changes driven by technological advancements that are transforming every aspect of life, as well as increasing complexities in economic, social, and environmental dynamics. These challenges directly impact all sectors, particularly higher education, which plays a crucial role in developing human resources, generating knowledge, and creating innovations to drive national development.
In this context, higher education institutions must reimagine themselves to adapt to these challenges with a broad vision and flexible approaches, ultimately achieving maximum efficiency in producing high-quality graduates who meet the rapidly changing labor market demands, while fostering innovations that benefit society.
To respond to the transformation of higher education, Prince of Songkla University emphasizes two key concepts: Innovation and Collaboration. These concepts extend beyond curriculum improvement or the use of technology; they encompass roles and functions aimed at overcoming traditional limitations, creating new solutions, and enhancing existing processes in all dimensions—including teaching and learning, research, management, and the promotion of future skills. Achieving these goals requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the institution, such as government agencies, private sector, industry, and civil society worldwide. Such collaborations serve as essential mechanisms to strengthen capacity and enhance the potential of higher education systems, ensuring that education effectively meets labor market and societal needs.
Based on these considerations, Prince of Songkla University, in collaboration with the Association of Professional and Organizational Development Network of Thailand Higher Education (ThaiPOD Network) and the Thailand Cyber University Project (TCU), is organizing the 13th National Education Conference under the theme: “Reimagining Higher Education in a Changing World: Innovation and Collaboration.” This conference marks the 13th iteration hosted by Prince of Songkla University, the 2nd in cooperation with ThaiPOD Network.
