The 13th Education Conference
“Reimagining Higher Education in a Changing World: Innovation and Collaboration”

The world today is confronting rapid and continuous changes, stemming from technological advancements that are reshaping every dimension of life, alongside increasingly complex economic, social, and environmental fluctuations. These challenges directly impact all sectors, especially the higher education system, which holds a crucial role in producing and developing human resources, as well as creating knowledge and innovation to drive national progress.
Among these circumstances, the higher education system must “Reimagine” or transform itself to adapt and respond to these challenges with a broad vision and flexible processes. This approach will lead to the most efficient operations in producing quality human resources who meet the rapidly changing demands of the labor market, including the creation of innovations beneficial to society.
To address the transformation of the higher education system, Prince of Songkla University emphasizes two core concepts:
Innovation and Collaboration. This concept is not limited merely to improving curricula or adopting technology. It also encompasses the role and responsibility of overcoming existing limitations, fostering new creations, and enhancing existing processes in all dimensions. This scope includes curriculum development, research, administration, and the promotion of future skills. To achieve these goals, higher education institutions must rely on
Collaboration with diverse sectors both within and outside the institution, such as government agencies, private sectors, industries, and civil society organizations worldwide. These collaborations will serve as a crucial mechanism to strengthen and enhance the potential for higher education system development, which will genuinely enable education to meet the needs of the labor market and society.
Based on these reasons, Prince of Songkla University, in collaboration with the Association of Professional and Organizational Development Network of Thailand Higher Education (ThaiPOD Network), is organizing the 13th National Academic Conference on Education under the theme “Reimagining Higher Education in a Changing World: Innovation and Collaboration”. This conference marks the 13th instance organized by Prince of Songkla University and the 2nd time in collaboration with the ThaiPOD Network. It explicitly focuses on the concept of “Reimagining Higher Education” through various activities, including seminars, discussions, experience sharing, presentations of research works by faculty members, educational personnel, and students, as well as activities related to Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE).
The conference will take place from 26 to 27 February 2026 at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Prince of Songkla University.
